Learning, teaching and assessment sector focuses on improving the effectiveness of learning and the behavior of students by maintaining the quality of general education and the efficiency of institutions and implementing the school improvement program. It also directs the evaluation of student learning ability and the effectiveness of the curriculum being implemented and supervises educational research. The sector also ensures providing opportunities for adults and non-formal education programs for citizens who miss out the opportunity to study in the formal program to learn through informal options.

1 By evaluating the condition of schools with a clear and consistent measure, preparing
  •  a school improvement plan that is based on information and ensures educational equity in a manner that involves stakeholders; It is to improve the learning outcomes and behavior of students through implementation and evaluation.

2 Adult and non-formal education provision directorate

  • The goal of adult and non-formal education is to provide basic adult education for youth and adults aged 15 years and above to enable the adult to be able to read, write and calculate, and to provide non-formal education program for children and youth who do not have the opportunity to study in the formal education program.
  •  It is to increase the basic education rate of our country by empowering citizens with knowledge, skills and thinking and improving their standard of living by using alternative education provision.
